In The Hybrid Workplace: An Employee Census, a Cloudbooking report published in 2021, we found that a clear majority of US and UK workers (93%) were against either a full-time return to the office or a full-time working-from-home scenario. Office workers clearly wanted the best of both worlds — a hybrid workplace.
But all that was back then.
Our latest YouGov survey showed that in 2022, one in every two employees is now a hybrid worker and two-thirds of workers admit they’d be less likely to work for a company that doesn’t offer hybrid working. These findings, compiled in The Future of Work: 8 Trends in Workplace Transformation Report, clearly indicate that a reimagining of how people viewed the “workplace” was afoot.
